He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth B. Muckenfuss, Sr. and Gladys Bell Muckenfuss; and his son Kenneth Beauregard Muckenfuss, III. He is survived by: his adoptive daughter Claudette Short of Davenport, Iowa.; his children, Dr. Natalie Muckenfuss Lyle of Boulder, CO and Brian D. Muckenfuss of Davenport; his sister Marie Muckenfuss Thomas; his brother-in-law Richard F. Thomas (Frank) of Ridgeville, SC.; and his close friend Sharon O. Wilkins. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Bonnerest Cemetery Fund, 311 S. Main St. or to Mt. Tabor UMC, PO Box 193.
