He was predeceased by: his father Dr. David Hungerford; and his former wife Donna Hungerford. He is survived by: his wife Amy E. Hungerford; his brother Dr. Marc Hungerford (Margaret); his nephews, Alexander and Lucas; his brother Dr. Lars Hungerford (Amanda); and his siblings' children, Harlow and Axel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Charleston Hope Lodge in memory of Kyle Hungerford.
