He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Arthur Pressley and Jettie Myrtle Burgess Pressley; his children, Mary Deloris Pressley of Santa Rosa, Darlin Pressley of Columbia, John Pressley (Trudi) of Columbus, Darryl Pressley (Elizabeth) of Florence and Kenneth Pressley (Patricia) of Augusta, Georgia; his sisters, Almeade Joyner of Washington, DC and Hager Lee Corbett of Sumter; and his siblings-in-law, Willie Ruth Pressley of Sumter, Dora Pressley of Sumter, Teronal Wilson of Columbia and Roger Fowkles of Indian Trail. He was also cherished by several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home.
Abraham accepted Christ at an early age and received his spiritual foundation at the Saint Mary United Methodist Church, Kingstree, South Carolina and later joined Saint James United Methodist Church, Sumter, South Carolina.
