She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clyde William Avery and Esther Dixon Avery; her children, Bruce Pyles, Betty Pyles Geddings, Becky Pyles Lee (James W. Lee, Sr.) and Shirley Pyles Bryant (James); her siblings, Catherine Avery Addison, Patsy Avery Williford and Roy Avery (Nancy); and her pet Lucky. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
