Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alma Margretta Mitchell (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away at the age of 80, on June 23, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis L. Titmas and Helen S. Titmas; and her sister Elaine T. Morrison. She is survived by: her husband Ronald W. Mitchell; her sons, Ronald W. Mitchell, Jr. (April Yaun-Mitchell) and Frederick A. Mitchell II (Hoa Tran Sypolt); her grandchildren, Mary Mitchell, Noah Yaun, Andrew Sypolt and Adam Sypolt; and her brother Ellis L. Titmas, Jr. (Colleen). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Doctors Without Borders USA, Inc., or the American Cancer Society, or one's favorite charity would be appreciated.
