She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Mae Oxendine; her husband Carl Hurst; her son Kevin M. Hurst; and her brothers, Ronnie Oxendine and Scottie Oxendine.

She is survived by: her children, Justin Hurst (Courtney), Toni Hurst (Nick) and Karen Kolb (Jason); her siblings, Ralph Oxendine, Sherry Oxendine, Luann O. Holliday and Mandy Oxendine; and her pet Roxy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
