She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Barto Johnson and Rachel Baker Johnson Smith; her stepfather John A. "Pokey" Smith, Sr.; her siblings, Jimmy Johnson and Kathy Dubose; and her son Carl Thames.
She is survived by: her husband Arnold J. Hall; her daughters, Marie T. Amerson (Tim) of Ridgeway and Mary Elizabeth Davis (Todd) of Alcolu; her grandchildren, Jennifer Arrants (Ron), Stephanie Lanford, Stephen Amerson (Megan), Pierce Davis, Abbey Davis and Cooper Davis; her great grandchildren, Maelee, Jackson, Walt and Titus; her daughter-in-law Ioana Thames; her siblings, Allen Johnson (Ann) and Beverly Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Johnson and Dr. James Daulton Dubose. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
