He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Frierson Hall and Rebecca Allen Brown Hall of Ashwood; his wives, Margaret McCutchen Hall and Annette Johnson Hall; his sister Dorothy Parkman; and his sons, John Samuel Hall and Mark Arnold Hall.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Reginald Hall (Tonya) of Sumter and Heyward Allan Hall (Lori) of Loveland, OH; and his grandchildren, Margaret Angela Carroll (Tim), Leslie Renee DuRant (Stan), Nichole Lynn Fretz (Greg), Joseph Nels Hall (Debra) and Elizabeth Allison Sberna (Joseph). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
