It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey White of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on October 3, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James D. White; and her parents, John A. Owens and Hazel Sowers Owens. She is survived by: her children, John Steven White (Cindie), Scott Lee White (Toni) of Ft. Worth, TX, Martha Carter (Rickey) of Sumter and Brenda Mettetal of Sumter; and her grandchildren, Shawna Bell, Jill Winter, Christina Carter, Kimberly Champagne, Rebecca Mettetal, Katie Mettetal, Jeffery White and Michael White. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19, the family will not be receiving friends at the residence.
