She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Earl Smith; her parents, Lester Vandewalker and Francis Marie Edwards Vandewalker; her sons, Gordon Earl Smith, Jr. and Theodore James Smith; her grandchildren, Mia and Makale Mainey; and her brothers, Lester "Bud" Vandewalker, Jr., Robert Vandewalker and Ronald Vandewalker.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Ronald Smith of Sumter, Rebecca Mainey (Robert) of Sumter and Timothy Ryon Smith of Sumter; her grandchildren, Logan Smith, Connor Smith, Ayla Smith and Brayden Mainey; and her great grandchildren, Emerson Smith, Lincoln Smith and Theodore Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
