She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sylvester Johnson and Bertha Brailsford Johnson; her children, Roosevelt Jr. (Shay), Leon McCoy and Roberta McCoy Sanders (Claude); her godchildren, Mary White and Leroy Williams; and her siblings, Rosa Lee "Bay" Wactor, William "Slim" Jenkins, James "Pete" Jenkins (Jeannette) of Sumter, Otha Johnson (Skeeter) of Rhode Island and John Gallishaw of Brooklyn. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren: thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
In accordance with the COV19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home from 4:00 p. m. until 8:30 p. m., 511 Church Street, Sumter.
