With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jo Emore (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on March 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Joseph Berry and Virgie Gunn Berry; her siblings, Nina Louise Pittman, Mary Alice Simpson, James Arthur Berry, Franklin Delano Berry and Johnny Dale Berry; her son Donald Maurice Buchanan; and her former husband Melvin L. Emore.
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Dearman Buchanan; her granddaughter Rachel Dearman Gunn Buchanan; her son-in-law Daniel Dow; and her pets, Twinkle and Beanie Weenie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
