She was predeceased by: her parents, Lex Monroe Stewart and Fannie Mae Stubbs Stewart; and her daughter Hope Knight Peavy. She is survived by: her husband Dewey "Dickie" Knight of Sumter; and her sons, Michael Knight (Kim) of Sumter, Steve Knight (Cheryl) of Sumter, John Knight (Linda) of Sumter and Charles Knight (Tammy) of Sumter. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
