She was predeceased by: her husband William Luyster; her parents, John Amos Geddings and Marie Barwick Geddings; and her siblings, John Amos Geddings, Jr., Leroy Geddings and Bessie McLeod.
She is survived by: her close friend Johnny M. McCall; and her children, Laure Moore (Terry) of Sumter, Debra Rogers (Scooby) of Longs, Ward A. Smith, Jr. (Jaime) of Lake Placid, NY and Pamela L. Scaife of Lake Placid, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
