Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Trapp (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 87, on March 6, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin D. Trapp; and her daughter Catherine Simmons Trapp. She is survived by: her children, Marvin Daniel Trapp, Jr. (Scottie) of Charlotte, NC, Sallie Trapp Stafford (Steve) of Sumter and David Bryan Trapp (Sylvia) of Sumter; her grandchildren, Simmons Trapp Purdy (Russ), Catherine Trapp, Margaret Stafford Manders (Kelly), Stephen Stafford (Katie), Austin and Alexandria Trapp; and her great grandchildren, Francis, Jacquie, Julia Purdy, Michael Manders and Jackson Stafford.
All attendees are asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing during the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Carolina Chapter, 4600 Park Rd, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28209 or to First Presbyterian Church of Sumter.
