He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Earnest Robinson and Ida H. Holly Robinson; his former wife Barbara J. Robinson; his daughter Jerry Robinson Derrick; and his siblings, Mary Eloise McCaskill Bourgette (Edward), Libby Elseth (Harold), Billy Robinson (Rita) and James L. Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Faye Shultz Robinson; and his sons, Carl Robinson (Cindy) of Virginia and Kendall Robinson (Sharon) of Sumter.
