He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Leroy and Celestine Deloris Brooks; his children, Brian Brooks Jr., Avery Brooks, Lyera Brooks and Briana Brooks; his stepchildren, Malaysia Spears, Kavareona Tindal, Marlyshia Oaks, Marcellus Oaks III of Sumter and Martarius Oaks of Sumter; his siblings, Brent L. Brooks (Pamela-Kellogg), Tammie T. Brooks of Sumter, Shikina T. Brooks of Wedgefield and Nina Anderson (Edward) of Greenville; and his close friend Carlos Abrams. He was also cherished by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In accordance with the COVID -19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 71C Somerset Drive, Sumter.
