He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Joseph Barkley, Sr. and Mary Catherine Lackey Barkley. He is survived by: his wife Kellie Berry Barkley; his children, Kevin Barkley of Sumter, Jamie Barkley of Sumter, Melissa Gurney of Sumter, Tammy Gainey of Columbia and Emily Patel of Sumter; and his sister Carolyn Coursey (Clarence) of Sumter.
