It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Edwards (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Warren A. Edwards; her siblings, William Evans Jr., Ethel Evans-Dellahoussaye, Lucille Evans-McTillman and Jerry Evans; her half-sister Naomi Brand; her grandson Nasir Luthas; and her great grandchild Messiah Keyes.
She is survived by: her sister Diane Evans; her children, Atiba Luthas, Marques Edwards and Kyesha Edwards; her grandchildren, Nyasia, Mariah, Kamani, Sanaa, Lyric, Khalik and Kai; and her great grandchild Josiah. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and a vast extended family.
