He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Mitchum Coker. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ann Mitchum; his children, Cecil Mitchum, Jr., Jimmy Bowick, Melanie Bowick, Lydia McKelvy and Tina Pettis (Marquiet); and his siblings, Rubin Mitchum, Gene Smoak and Darlene Parks. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
