He was predeceased by: his father Charles Alvo Pate; and his stepmother Julia Hinson Pate. He is survived by: his wife Angela Windham Pate; his children, Matthew and Lindsi; his uncle Skip; and his aunt Sherrill Roberts of Warner Robins, Georgia.. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
