It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Triplett Jr. (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Julia; his daughters, Sonya Serrano (Luis) of Columbia and Bridgette Henry (Jonathan) of Sumter; his stepson Maurice Tisdale of Sumter; his siblings, Marilyn Coleman, Mary Triplett, Linda Johnson of Rochester, NY and Michael Johnson (Mary) of Hornell, NY; and his siblings-in-law, Lula Pressley, Wilhelmina Durant (Nathaniel) of Sumter, Curtis Tisdale (Alma) of Atlanta, GA and David Tisdale (Martha) of Kingstree. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID -19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 110 Hope Court, Sumter.
