He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Boatwright, Sr. and Mary Anna Green Boatwright; and his siblings, Leroy Boatwright, Terrance Boatwright, John Boatwright, Eddie Lee Boatwright, Edmond Boatwright, Jr., Hattie Turner, Mary Osborne Boatwright and Josephine Boatwright.
He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Jones Boatwright; his children, NJ, Clyde Jones, Eulas Boatwright (Latrice), Philip Boatwright (Yadi), Troy Boatwright (Tunisha), Danny Boatwright (Gabriella) and Tedwood Boatwright (Melissa); his stepmother Mary Jane Belser Boatwright; his adoptive son Dwain Johnson; and his siblings, James Boatwright (Alicia), George Boatwright (Audrey), Daisy Pearson (Alfred), Runette Eady (Buster), Anna Benjamin, Gloria Lucas (Robert), Janet Belser and Vertina Dinkins (Timothy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
