He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlisle Welch and Florie Avin Welch Hamblin; and his son Danny C. Welch, Jr. (Kim) of Sumter. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Pam Saverance (David) of Darlington; his sisters, Barbara Harris of Sumter and Virginia Welch of Sumter; his grandchildren, D. J. Welch, Zachary Welch, Jazmyne Welch and Jonathan Bryant; and his great grandchildren, Fisher Welch and Colson Welch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
