He is survived by: his children, Elaine Anderson (Stanley) of Sumter, SC, Jennifer Carter (Troy) of New Jersey, Precious King (Todd) of Sumter, SC, Manel Lyons of Mooresville, NC, Nathaniel David Ragin of New Jersey and Gregory Briggs (Natasha) of New Jersey; and his siblings, Emily Briggs of Brooklyn, NY, Jacob Briggs of Brooklyn, NY and John Briggs of New Jersey. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
