It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deloris Thames McCoy (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on March 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elvin James "Red" McCoy; her parents, Miles Thames and Susie Weatherly Thames; her daughter Wendy McCoy; and her brothers, Miles Thames, Jr., Julius Thames and Walter Thames.

She is survived by: her children, Mark McCoy (Beckie) and Patricia Norton of Sumter; and her grandchildren, Mickel, Kirk, Ashliegh, Amanda, Charlotte, Jamie, Kacie, Kristie and Shannen. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
