It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Adams of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Amsterdam, Ohio, who passed away on March 30, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Preston Adams; her parents, Orpha Powers and Martha Alice Wiseman Powers; her son Mark Kevin Adams; and her siblings, Lester Powers and Ruth McConnell.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Hiles (Cherrie), Norris Eugene Hiles (Theresa) of Wedgefield, Jeffery Wayne Hiles (Robin) of Sumter and Melissa Guiffre (Sal); her sisters, Margaret Metsen and Naomi Locks; and her close friends, Shelly McKee of Newark, OH and Amanda Roberts of Manning. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
