She was predeceased by: her husband Wyatt Meeks; her parents, William W. Briley and Lillian Martin Briley; her grandson Brian Meeks; and her siblings, Irene Harris, Nannette Everett, Dennis Briley and Thomas Briley.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas J. Meeks (Beverly) of Rockledge, FL and Gary Meeks (Sally) of Lynchburg, VA; and her sister Gaynell Lewis of Bethel, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
