We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2021, at the age of 84, Elijah Mickens (Sumter, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Lou Ross Mickens; his parents, Tallie Mickens and Lillie Mae Wilson Mickens; his children, Karen Mickens of Hampton, VA, Adran Mickens of Charleston, S. C., Armellini Rogers (Tarantino) of Charlotte, N. C., Stephanic Scott of Newport News, VA, Daryl Mickens (Phyllis) of Newport News, VA and Eric Mickens (Quincy Mickens) of Hampton, VA; and his siblings, Samuel Mickens of Riveria Beach, FLA, Thomas Mickens of Dalzell, S. C. and Lillie Mae Mickens of Forestville, MD. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID -19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home.
