He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Shelley and Elnita Edwards Shelley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue; his sons, Russell Shelley (Tami) of Simpsonville and Mark Shelley (Bambi) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Laura Siefert, Luke Shelley, Lance Shelley, Ally Shelley, Mollie Shelley and Hannah Shelley; his sister Estha Gore of Charleston; and his close friends, Merle, Freddy, Kim and Sam. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
