It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erline Brewer Gamble of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Manning, South Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Carlyle Gamble, Sr.; her parents, James Vanolin Brewer, Sr. and Janie Louise Tobias Brewer; and her brothers, James Vanolin Brewer, Jr., Welborn Brewer and Elbert Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Clarence Carlyle Gamble, Jr. (Judy) and Alice Gamble Jordan (Ron) of Manning; her grandchildren, Laura Hinman (Duane), Aaron Powell (Daphne), Ashley Burr (Trent), Jay Lowder (Cristy), Christy Reed (Rodney), Chrystie Baltenbach (Jeff) and Chad Jordan (Brittany); her siblings, Wayne Brewer (Pam) of Manning, Louise Thompson of Manning and Janet Johnson (Walt) of Lexington; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Brewer of Manning. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
