She was predeceased by: her parents, George Roman and Malvenia Reed Roman; her son Theodore J. York; and her granddaughter Brenae Dionne Berry. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Henry York; her daughters, Belvin York Collier of Sumter, SC, Lucinda York Herriott (John) of Sumter, SC and Tonya Marie York of Sumter, SC; her grandchildren, Mano Parr (Pamela) of Fredricksburg, VA, Lionel Grant (Michelle) of Mount Rainer, MD, Leroy York (Lucinda) of Greenville, SC, Thomayne Grant (Katherine) of Providence, RI, Dwandre Bellinger (Michael) of Columbia, SC, Thomas York of Columbia, SC and Tobias York of Columbia, SC; her siblings, Sadie R. White of New Haven, CT, Barbara R. Wilson Jackson, Gloria R. Felder of Sumter, SC, Johnnie Roman (Miriam) of Sumter, SC and Ella Lane of Sumter, SC; and her siblings-in-law, McKinley Wilson, Sr. of Sumter, SC, Rosanna York of Indian Head, Fort of Washington, Virginia Perry of Baltimore, MD and Flossie York of Sumter, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
