She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Carlisle Burke and Essie Geddings Burke; and her brothers, Carl Avery Burke and Kenneth S. Burke. She is survived by: her husband Clifton J. Brown, Jr.; her children, Lynn Brown Twitty (Randy) of Sumter and Kenneth S. Brown (Pam) of Sumter; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Twitty, Andrew Twitty, Daniel Twitty and Justin Shumate. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
