It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Genie Means Warshauer of Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Hon; her parents, Alpheus Eugene Hatcher and Marie McLendon Hatcher; her former husband Bernard J. Warshauer; her sister Alechia Hatcher Freeman; and her aunt Mae Broxton.
She is survived by: her son Major Thomas E. Means (Beth Fudger) of Pawleys Island, SC; her sister Anne Hatcher of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Amy Means, Kathryn Means Joseph, William H. Means III, Harley Means, Matthew Means, Christopher Means, Josiah Means and Felicity Means; and her stepgrandson Wesley Corbett. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.
