She was predeceased by: her parents, John Haggard Welch and Susan Emma Strickland Welch; and her sister Betty Jean Guinther. She is survived by: her husband David T. Winter, Jr.; her sons, Rev. Phillip Winter (Rhonda) of Greenville, SC and Daniel Winter of Sumter; and her grandsons, Justin Winter and Andrew Winter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
