He was predeceased by: his parents, Goodwin Rickman and Ruth Hatcher Rickman. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Rickman (Yên) of Sumter, Mary Lynn Merck (Patrick McLeod) of Sumter and Becky Cannon (Randy) of Irmo; his grandchildren, Emily Bays (Bradley), Jonathan Cannon, Madison Bashir (Karim), Trevor Merck, Peyton Cannon, Ryan Rickman and Ruth Ann Rickman; his great grandchildren, Chandler Jackson Powell, Hayden Collins, Cameron Bays, Hadley Bayes, Ansley Cannon, Karim Bashir, IV and Kayden Bashir; and his siblings, Eileen Selvage of Waverly, OH and Robert Rickman (Barbara) of Portsmouth, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
