He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Caffery and Norine B. Garin Caffery; his grandson Kenneth Trow; and his siblings, Roy Caffery, Robert Caffery, Nancy Burroto, Helen Brown and Cathleen Caffery.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Ezrow Caffery; his children, James "Jim" Joseph Caffery, Jr. (Evelyn) of Morrisville, NC and Denise Trow of Plattsburg, NY; and his grandchildren, Ruth Buxbaum (Joshua), Sarah Caffery and Daniel Caffery.
