He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlton H. Griffin, Sr. and Ada M. Griffin; and his brother Charlton H. Griffin, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy R. Griffin; his daughters, Leigh Griffin Carter (Ross) and Lacey Griffin Ray; his sister Sandra Kinsey; his granddaughters, Morgan James Ray and Emma Reid Carter; and his pets, Darby and Elphie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
