He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Jane Harmon Sutphin; and his parents, Floyd Newton Sutphin and Rosie Lucille Hodge Sutphin. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandee Sutphin of Charleston and Melanie McAfee of Sumter; his granddaughters, Amber Kellum and Mollee Richardson (Adam); his great grandchildren, Penelope Miller and Micah Richardson; his siblings, Robert Sutphin of Mississippi and Linda Smith of North Carolina; and his sister-in-law Lea Harmon (Adam) of Sumter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
