He was predeceased by: his parents, Pickey Holmes and Rosa Lee Jones Holmes; his wife Louise Brown Williams; his children, George Williams, Jerry Williams, Jr. and Cora Williams Henderson; and his granddaughter Ramona N. Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Micheal B. Williams of Yigo, Guam, Isaac Williams (Rhonda) of Orlando, FL, Hammie "Randy" Johnson (Varline) of Sumter, Vashawne Leonard (Del) of Camden and Jacqueline Wright of Sumter; his son-in-law Ted Henderson of Orangeburg; his siblings-in-law, William "Duke" Brown of Bamberg and Hattie B. James of Bamberg, S. C.; and his sons, Dennis Davis (Barbara) of Sumter and William Kimes (Mahsa) of Stone Mountain, GA. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In accord with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 14 West Bartlette Street, Apt #114, Sumter.
