He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby G. Dew; and his parents, Harold Buck Dew and Eddie Skipper Dew. He is survived by: his children, Willie Joe Dew of Summerton and Patricia Gale Chason of Thomasville, GA; his stepdaughters, Pam Detrick of Sumter, Deborah Sweeney of Sumter and Vickie Sweeney of Sumter; his sister Nell Collins of Conway; his close friend Linda Stinnie of Summerton; and his granddaughter Lindsey Hall. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
