She was predeceased by: her husband William Cecil "Pete" Lusk; her mother Sadie Mathis Dority; and her sisters, Inez Richburg and Lillie Mae Dority Butler. She is survived by: her children, Ervin W. Boykin (Amanda) of Wateree, Carl E. Boykin (Lynette) of Sumter, Theressa Hiles (Gene) of Wedgefield and Nancy L. Meares (Darren Polutta) of Sumter. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walkers Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, 99 Walter Ave, Sumter, SC 29153.
