She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Frank Richardson and Emma Jane York Richardson. She is survived by: her children, George Mefford (Nancy) of Sumter, John Mefford of Apex, NC, James Mefford (Janesse) of Sumter and Brenda Infinger (Brad Dollar) of Manning; her grandchildren, Tara Edmunds, Emory "Chip" Infinger, Brenden Mefford, Tia Mefford, Stacy Gerbode and Julieann Brooke Mefford; her stepgrandchildren, Ericka and Jester; her great grandchildren, Lilli, Coral, Jewel, Randy, Collins, Christian and Lily; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Davis, Savannah, Hunter and Nathaniel. She is also survived by fifteen children and helped raise her own grandchildren and great grandchildren.
