He was predeceased by: his spouse Tomasyne Richardson Barrineau; his parents, John Henry Barrineau and Mildred Watford Cole; and his brother Ronnie Barrineau. He is survived by: his sons, John Russell Barrineau, Jr. of Burney, CA and Wayne Randy Barrineau (Dennette) of Burney, CA; his grandchildren, Ashley Valentine (Kenny), Wayne Barrineau (Katie) and Jeremy Barrineau; his great grandchildren, Cobie Valentine, Bailey Valentine and Bristol Barrineau; and his brothers, Jimmy Cole (Kathy) of Sumter and Carrol Cole of Sumter.
