With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lee Martin (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elijah Martin and Janie Small Martin; his wife Alva Mae Jenkins Martin; his sons, Leroy Martin of Maine, Johnny Martin, Jr. (Thelma) and Gregory Martin; his siblings, Elijah Martin, Jr. of New York, Louise Jenkins (James) of Sumter and Darryl Keith (Chelyl); and his siblings-in-law, Min, Thelma Vaughn of Dalzell, Rev. Jannette Jenkins of Sumter and Mildred Mathew of Philadelphia, PA. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 2690 Yank Haven Drive, Sumter.
