He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph McCaskey Sr. and Emily Pisarski; his former wife Adelaide Budd McCaskey; his grandchildren, Kimberly and Matthew McCaskey; his stepson John Stabile; and his son-in-law Brent Emmons.
He is survived by: his wife Carole McCaskey; his children, Emily Emmons (Brent), Karen Hanson (Kim), Steven McCaskey (Katharine) and Lawrence McCaskey (Brenda); and his stepchildren, Gabrielle Thorndyke, Asunta McCathern (Robert) and Theresa Walker (Robbie).
The family requests masks to be worn and social distancing at each event.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers, in John's name, to a charity of choice.
