We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2020, John Ray McElhaney (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Rock Hill, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. W. Belk and Annie Mae McElhaney; his children, Wesley McElhaney, Julie Poston and Faith McElhaney; and his grandson Joe Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer McElhaney Pring (Richard) of Sumter and Lola Ethington; and his children-in-law, Christine Nolff of Lugoff and Steve Poston of Columbia. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
All attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
