He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McMillian and Beulah Richardson McMillian. He is survived by: his wife Mae Jennings McMillian; his children, Johnnie McMillian, Jr. (Jimmy Lou), Dorothy Blanding (Samuel) and Ruby Phillips (Joe); his grandchildren, Ryan, Leon, Kevin, Lionell, Keirra, Seirra, Andre and Jermaine; his sister Ida M. Oliver of Brooklyn; and his sisters-in-law, Veronica McMillian, Ophelia "Gladys" McMillian and Annie Louise McMillian. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COV19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home of Dorothy Blanding, 2385 Lilbaby Lane, Sumter and Johnnie McMillan, Jr., 4210 Cotton Acres Road, Sumter.
