We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2021, at the age of 78, Joseph G Heyward Sr. (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Charleston, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Heyward (Marie), Rojessica Heyward, Gladene Heyward-Reid (Adrian), Karl Heyward (Angelic) and Artemus Heyward (Monica); his grandchildren, Joseph Heyward, III, Christine Heyward, Victoria Reid and Alaina Heyward; and his sister Maybell Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 3175 North Main Street, Sumter.
