It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Vedder (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sanford E. "Sam" Vedder; and her parents, H. Coleman Davis and Dossie Caldwell Davis. She is survived by: her children, Mark (Cindy Hall), Joe (Linda Hall), Mickey (Beth Fordham), Anne McCulley, Craig (Sherry Hagstrom), Ken (Maureen Vedder) and Dan (Wendy Kjeldbjerg); her grandchildren, Scott (Lindsay Dunn), Ben Fordham (Lisa Renslow), Grant (Sara Fordham), Jordan (Abby Vedder), Hanna and Laina (Elly Kjedbjerg); and her great grandchild CarterAnn Fordham.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Vedder's memory to the Church of the Holy Comforter, 213 N. Main St., Sumter, SC 29150.
